r.. <br />JOS- Lot 9, Block 6 Kensington Square til 350.00 <br />Lot 9, Block 16, Kensington Square 250.00 <br />Lot 10, Block 3, Stambaugh Street Addition 350.00 <br />RESvLUTION 1209 AUTHORIZING SALE OF LOTS BY COUNTY was offered and moved for adoption by <br />Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call. <br />TRAFFIC FACT FINDING COIvMITTEE RECOMMENDED PLACING OR INSTALLING TRAFFIC CONES AT BOTH ENDS <br />OF THE CURB FOR ADDED PROTECTION AND WARNING TO THE MOTOREST. However, Councilman <br />Jones moved that curb and warning signals be removed, seconeded by Councilman Morgan <br />and carried. This was on Broadway between Main & Walnut Streets. <br />TRAFFIC FACT FINDING COMMITTEE RECOMiIENDED 30 ft LOADING ZONE FRONT RAILWAY EXPRESS AGENCY <br />AT 809 WALNUT STREET. Approved on motion of Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman <br />Herkner and carried. <br />TRAFFIC FACT FINDING COMMITTEE RECOMMENDED NO PARKING ZONE BETWEEN NX CURB RETURN ON <br />MIDDLEFIELD ROAD AT MAIN AND INSTALL 2 PARKING METERS NORTH SIDE MIDDLEFIELD ROAD <br />WEST OF GERNERAL PETROLEUM DRIVEWAY ENTRANCES. On motion of Councilman Morgan, <br />seconded by C ouncilman Royer recommendation approved and carried. <br />COMMUNICATION FRO1M MRS. EVE IV. SALZ, (MRS. M.K. ), 9L}8 Durlston Road, REgUESTING PERMISSION <br />TO DEMONSTRATE GUIDE DOGS IN A SPOT IN FRONT OF THE COURT HOUSE, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22, <br />was referred to the Police Department to make the necessary arrangements on motion <br />of Councilman Spillers and seconded by Bouncilman Morgan. Motion carried.. <br />LETTER FROM SOUTHER PACIFIC COMPANY REGARDING INSTALLATION OF Ir�RCURY VAPOR STREET LIGHTING <br />UNITS AT MIDDLEFIELD AND CHESTNUT STREET CROSSINGS was read by the Clerk in which the <br />City was requested to authorize the installation and agree to assume expense of main- <br />tenance and operation after the installation. On motion of Councilman Granger, second, <br />ed by Councilman Royer Clerk was directed to reply to letter advising that the City <br />was in the process of negotiating a sale of street lighting system to the Pacific Gas <br />and Electric Company and we will advise later as to the final decision in this matter. <br />motion carried. <br />CITY CLERK ADVISED THAT THROUGH AN OVERSIGHT RESOLUTION 1125 which was adopted b;; the Counc9 <br />on August 20th, 1951 had been omitted from <br />the <br />permanent <br />minutes. <br />On motion <br />of Counciw <br />man Spillers, seconded by Councilman Royer <br />the <br />following <br />record was <br />added to <br />the offic- <br />ial minutes of August 20th, 1951 - <br />"FRIENDLY ACRES. Affidavit of publication was ordered filed. <br />FRIENDLY ACRES IMPROVEIM3ENTS - Public hearing on modification of improvements - <br />Florence & Bay Road. City Engineer stated there was not petition, that Gas <br />Tax Money would be used to finish the center of street and resolution should <br />be amended. There were no oral or written protests. <br />RESOLUTION 1125 OF INTENTION AMENDING RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 909 MODIFYING <br />FRIENDLY ACRES I1IPROVE1,1EENTS WAS OFFERED AND moved for adoption by Councilman. <br />Jones, -seconded by'Councilman Royer and carried'bn roll call. Councilman <br />Spillers and Mayor Britschgi noted absent." <br />Motion carried. <br />CITY ATTORNEY ADVISED THAT THE BALANCE OF THE SLULSAFT PROPERTY WAS READY FOR ACCEPTANCE <br />and on motion of Councilman Granger, seconded by Councilman Spillers, City Clerk was <br />authorized to accept deed and motion carried. <br />CITY ATTORNEY ADVISED THAT ON JULY 19th, 19462 CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FILED CONDEMNATION SUIT <br />"CITY OF REDWOOD CITY VS WOOLL, AND FRAZIER, ET AL", COVERING AN EASEMENT FROM DEFIER%; <br />SOI! AVENUE TO THE REAR OF THE FRANK PROPERTIES ON BROADWAY. The Council was of the <br />opinion no dismissal should be filed at this time. <br />COUIlCILI,.All ROYER OOI�IIVIENTED ON STUDY" MEETINGS BEING CALLED WITHOUT SUFFICIENT ADVANCE NOTICE <br />and asked that some schedule be worked out so that future meetings might be determined <br />
