<br />Morgan and Spillers noted absent.

<br />Redwood City Council
<br />Tuesday, March 18, 1952, 8:00 P.M.
<br />ON ROLL CALL the following were present: Councilmen: Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkni
<br />Paul Jones, Albert H. Morgan Jr., Wm. H. Royer, Robert V. Spillers, Mayor Carl A.
<br />Britschgi, and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Also present were: City Manager E. A.
<br />Rolison, Administrative Assistant Orrin Wendling, City Attorney C. B. Currie, City
<br />Engineer Glenn bi. Jain, Police Chief S. D. Wood, City Collector P. E. Perrin,
<br />Assistant Fire Chief W. Leslie, Assistant Building Inspector B. C. Gyselbrecht, and
<br />Auditor -Assessor J. J. Brophy.
<br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING, March 3rd were approved as mailed on motion of Councilman
<br />Spillers, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried.
<br />REAL ESTATE COMMIT REPORTED status bn lots in Jefferson Avenue Addition - Lot 24,
<br />Block 1�, Lot 1�, Block 3, sold by County. The City had fee title and they were sold
<br />as tax lots at a tax sale; they, therefore, recommend6d that they be offered for
<br />sale at 075 each. Councilman Spillers moved approval of recommendation, seconded by
<br />Councilman IYT.organ, and carried.
<br />REAL ESTATE COMMITTEE REPORTED status of City owned properties. Committee reviewed the
<br />inventory and approved report of Mr. Chas. Diel, who was paid $295 for 59 hours work
<br />Further recommendation was that Assessor Brophy be allowed to have copies of County
<br />Assessor's wingmap in order that the City map could be brought up to date showing
<br />City owned properties fee title and City properties which have tax titles. Few fee
<br />title lots not picked up in IJIr. Diel's report to be left "as is", to be appraised fo;
<br />price of quiet title when and as they appeared ,as cost in finding them would be
<br />excessive. It was suggested that a meeting with Mr. Ralph IYiac Arthur, County Tax
<br />Collector be arranged to study this matter and was so moved on motion of Councilman
<br />Granger, seconded by Councilman Royer, and carried.
<br />REAL ESTATE COMMITTEE APPRAISAL Lot 14, Block 6, West Redwood. The committee recommended
<br />the price of 5600, and the lot will be advertised for sale on motion of Councilman
<br />Spillers, seconded by Councilman Jones, and carried.
<br />REAL ESTATE COMMITTEE'S RECOI;,II.IENDATION ON MINIMUEI PRICE .on Lots 17 and 18, Block 2, Reese
<br />Subdivision, and Lots 17 and 18, Block 1, Reese subdivision. Since valuation was
<br />placed on these lots, it was discovered that there were no sewers and laterals avail-
<br />able to Lots 17 and 18,, Block 2, Reese Subdivision. Cormnittee will check further
<br />into the appraisal on these two lots and report at the next meeting. Councilman
<br />Spillers so moved, seconded by Councilman Morgan and darried.
