75 RESOLUTION No. 914 OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS, OAK, REESE AND JOHNSON STREET. RESOLUTION No. 914 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS OAK, REESE, and JOHNSON STREETS RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, that the public convenience and necessity require, and that it intends to order in accordance with the procedure set out in Article I of Ordinance No, 333 of said City, adopted March 144 1932, as amended, the following work to be done and Improve- ments to be made in and for said City, to wit: (1) The improvement of Oak Avenue from King Street to a point opposite the northerly line of Lot 9, Block 1, resubdivision of Lot 29, Reese Subdivision, the improvement of Johnson Street fromOak Avenue to Redwood Avenue, and the improvement of Reese Street from Oak Avenue to Redwood Avenue by constructing and installing therein 21' asphaltic concrete paving 31' wide on a 6" crusher run rock base, standard concrete curbs and gutters,on either side thereof, standard concrete sidewalks on either side thereof and standard driveway approaches. (2) The construction and installation of a storm sewer system complete in place as follows: (a.) In reese Street a 15" reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer extending approximately 4.811 in a northwesterly• direction in said street from a standard reinforced concrete catch basin to be constructed at the intersection of Reese Street and Redwood Avenue to Redwood Creek. (b) In Johnson Street a 15" reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer extending approximately 32' in a northwesterly direction in said street from a standard reinforced concrete catch basin to be constructed at the intersection of Redwood Avenue and Johnson Street to Redwood Creek. (c) 15" reinforced concrete pipe siphons at the following location complete with standard reinforced concrete catch basins at either end thereof as follows: 1.- One across Reese Street sit Oak Avenue. 2.- One across Johnson Street at Oak Avenue. (3) The construction and installation of 10' x 6' reinforced concrete box culverts complete with welded pipes, hand rails and reinforced concrete head walls at the following locations: (a) One across Johnson Street covering Redwood Creek at a point approximately 70' northwesterly from the intersection of Johnson Street and Redwood Avenue (b) One across Reese Street covering Redwood Creek at a point Northwesterly from the intersection of Redwood Avenue and Reese Street and the removal of an existing wooden bridge structure now covering Redwood Creek. (4) The construction and installation of all work and furnishing all mater- ial necessary therefor, auxiliary to any of the work provided to be done in sections 1 through 3 hereof which may be reasonably required to carry out the same. All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at the places in the manner, of the sizes, of the materials, and to the lines, grades and elevations as shown on the plans, profiles and specifications made therefor, and on file in the office of the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City, and the same are made a part hereof by reference thereto. Whenever any public way is referred to as running between two public ways or from or to any public way, the intersections of the public ways referred to are included to the extent that work shall be done therein pursuant to the Plans and specificat i.ons hereinbefore referred to. Said Council does hereby adopt and establish as the official grPdes for said work the grades as shown on the plans, profiles and specifications made there- for and hereinbefore referred to.
