Councilman Jones offered resolution and moved adoption,; seconded <br />by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call. <br />RESOLUTION No. 915 <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINI114UM WAGE SCALE <br />OAK, REESE, and JOHNSON STREETS <br />WHEREAS the City Engineer of Redwood City has ascertained the general <br />prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public work <br />is proposed to be performed for work of a similar character to that described <br />in Resolution of Intention No. 914, adopted July 17, 1950 by the Council of <br />Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the <br />specifications for said project, copies of which are on file in the office of <br />said engineer and also in the office of the Clerk of said City; and <br />WHEREAS the Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and <br />finds the same to be correct in all particulars: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City resolves as follows: <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above- <br />mentioned project is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for <br />work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which said <br />Public work is proposed to be performed. <br />2.
