The City Manager was asked to check with the City of Palo Alto to find out the procedure they followed to secure funds. Councilman Granger referred to the train stopping and blocking the Middlefield Road crossing at Dumbarton cut-off for at least twenty minutes. He contacted a man from the Southern Pacific Company and that man will try to take care of the matter.. Councilman Granger was of the opinion that when the City has a sufficient funds they should look into the possibility to taking over the Friendly Acres Water Service. He suggested that the City Manager check into this matter before budget time. Councilman Spillers moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Herkner,and carried. S. Dodge. Also present were City Manager E. A. Rolison, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, Police Chief William Faulstich, Water Superintendent H. L. Winter, Planning Commissioners Greenwo3:d and McDonald, Building Inspector S. H. Kreiss, Assistant to City Manager L. A. Kimball, Assestant Water Super- intendent Warren Mitchell, Assessor -Auditor John J. Brophy Fire Chief J. L. Lodi':, Police Captain Theodore Moudakas, Recreation Director Alfred Morton and•Account-Clerk Vivian HolJmquist. Councilman Spillers moved that the minutes of February 4 and February 11, 1957, be approved as mailed, seconded by Councilman Stout. Councilman Herkner asked that the minutes of February 4th, page 3, last paragraph be spelled out in full. The rate would be 97.00 inside the City Limits plus 2/3 of $7.00 for the outside rate. This correction was noted and the motion carried. PUBLIC HEARING, PROPOSED ANNEXATION, FARM HILL ADDITION NO. 1. The Mayor announced that the applicant asked that this matter be held up two weeks. Councilman Weiss asked how the annexation fees would be handled. The City Attorney stated that he did not believe that the Council would approve the annexation until they collected the 75.00. The affidavit of publication was ordered filed. Councilman Spillers moved to hold this matter over for two weeks, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. ANTON MAYER, 1533 UNION AVENUE, REGARDING RESUBDIVISION PORTION LOT 3, BLOCK G, WOODSIDE ACRES NO. 1. The City Clerk stated that this matter was one year old. The City Attorney recommended that this matter be referred back to the Subdivision Committee of the 'Planning Commission. Councilman Stout moved to refer this back to the Subdivision Committee together with the new inf ormaton concerning deed for 271 now available, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. COUNCILMAN STOUT, FURTHER REPORT ON ANNEXATION FEES. Councilman Stout stated that he brought this matter before the Council at a previous meeting and asked that he be allowed to check further into this matter and meet with the 6ity Manager. He met with Mr. Rolison and after this meeting he wanted to recommend against any particular change in the annexation fees. He referred to the previous report made in regard to raising the building permit fees. He thought possibly the might change the resolution to an ordinance, however, before
