The City Manager reported in his letter that while the County's proposal is somewhat complicated,trom our analysis Redwood City would eventually gain an increase of approximately 10% more revenue than is now being received from this source, following the end of the proposed three year redistribution period. The City Manager recommended that the County's proposal be accepted. Councilman Herkner moved approval of the recommendation, seconded by Co uncilman Granger and carried. INTRODUCE ORDINANCE PROVIDING MINIMUM 15 FEET BETWEEN END OF CURB RETURN AND DRIVEWAY IN NON-RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS. The Clerk read the title of the proposed ordinance. DUMBARTON FAIR OAKS IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION, INC., REQUEST AN EARLY MEETING,TO DISCUSS CONTRACT DRAWN by the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office which is ready for Council approval. They want to discuss the contract and possibly an interim agreement to be effective as of now to the end of this fiscal year, ending June 30, 1957. The.,Mayor told Mr. Connors that he would be glad to hold a study meeting, however, Councilman Weiss is chairman and he is out of town at the present time. Mr. Connors^stated that everything was in order and he would like the meeting as soon as possible even if the chairman is unable to'attend the meeting.
