Trifeletti, stated that using the Prevailing Wage Rate to stop the influx of <br />out-of-state ~rkers from taking jobs away from local residents will not W)rk. <br /> <br />George Wooster, of Wooster & Wooster Resource Consultants, al so expressed concern <br />regarding the implementation of the Prevailing Wage Rate. <br /> <br />TOOl Adams suggested a compromise binding the Council to using all reasonable efforts <br />to include the Prevailing Wage Rate in City agreements. <br /> <br />CONSENSUS: Chairman Claire determined it to be the consensus of the Agency Board to <br />accept the suggestion of City Manager Smith that staff and principals work together <br />to provide the Agency Board with alternatives to the original proposal of the <br />Building Trades Council regarding a Prevailing Wage Rate Policy. <br />MEMO 3/9/88 <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />On motioo made, seconded and carried the Redeve10fJT1ent Agency adjourned at 9:25 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />ARLYN C.
