Recommendation: <br />1. Adopt City Council resolution and exhibits adopting the City's Conflict of <br />Interest Code. <br />RESOLUTION 14617 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY RE- ADOPTING THE CITY'S CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE AND <br />REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS. 9007, 9753, 10699, 11361, 11761, 12231, <br />12796, 13381, AND 14017 <br />2. Adopt Redevelopment Agency resolution with exhibits adopting the Agency's <br />Conflict of Interest Code. <br />RESOLUTION RD 04 -04 OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDWOOD <br />CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY RE- ADOPTING THE AGENCY'S CONFLICT <br />OF INTEREST CODE AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. RD 87 -04 AND <br />RELATED RESOLUTIONS <br />M/S Ruskin /Pierce to adjourn the Redevelopment Agency Meeting. The motion passed <br />by a unanimous roll call vote. <br />6. STAFF REPORTS <br />A. Emergency Preparedness Plan <br />Fire Chief Kohlmann made the PowerPoint presentation that included <br />explanation of the organizational structure, chain of command and functional <br />responsibilities. <br />Council Members asked various questions and made comments. Comments <br />included a request that staff compose a summary document of the presentation <br />to send out to the neighborhood association newsletters, the PTA's, schools and <br />other places where the community might access the information. Council <br />Member Foust thanked Chief Kohlmann and Battalion Chief Skinner for their <br />assistance in the certification of Redwood City employee Juan Ochoa who is part <br />of the Friendly Acres neighborhood. She further commended Mr. Ochoa and <br />Brian Mulver from San Mateo County. <br />Public Comment: <br />Janet Borgens stated that Friendly Acres does have a great emergency bin that <br />contains various available items. It was co- sponsored by the neighborhood and <br />initiated by Bonnie Miller's obtaining a grant.
