City of Redwood City esign-Builder Selection <br /> <br /> 3.9 Document Interpretation. Refer all questions for interpretation of the <br /> documents prepared by the D-B with an RFI procedure. <br /> <br /> 3.10 Shop Drawings and Samples. Establish and implement procedures for <br /> expediting the processing and approval of shop drawings and samples. <br /> <br /> 3.11 Reports and Project Site Documents. Record the progress of the <br /> project. Submit written progress reports to the City of Redwood City <br /> Project Manager including information on the trade contractor's work and <br /> the percentage of completion. Keep a daily log available to the City of <br /> Redwood City's Project Manager. <br /> <br /> 3.11.1 Maintain at the project site, on a current basis: records of all <br /> necessary contracts, drawings, samples, purchases, materials, <br /> equipment, maintenance and operating manuals and instructions, and <br /> other construction related documents, including all revisions. <br /> <br /> 3.11.2 Obtain data from trade contractors and maintain a current set of <br /> records, drawings, specifications, and operating manuals. At the <br /> completion of the project, deliver all such records to the City of Redwood <br /> City. <br /> <br />4.0 PROJECT CLOSE-OUT <br /> <br /> 4.1 Preliminary Final Inspection. Schedule a preliminary final inspection <br /> and follow up to make certain all punch list items are completed prior to <br /> final acceptance. <br /> <br /> 4.2 Substantial Completion. Determine substantial completion of the work <br /> or designated portions thereof, prepare a list of incomplete or <br /> unsatisfactory items and a schedule for their completion. <br /> <br /> 4.3 Start-Up. With the City of Redwood City's maintenance personnel, direct <br /> the checkout of utilities, operations systems and equipment for readiness <br /> and assist in their initial start-up and testing by the trade contractors. <br /> <br /> 4.4 As-Built Drawings. Prepare and submit as-built drawings on good <br /> quality mylar. <br /> <br /> 4.5 Final Acceptance. Determine final completion and provide written notice <br /> to the city of Redwood City's Project Manager that the work is ready for <br /> final inspection. Secure and transmit to the City of Redwood City required <br /> guarantees, affidavits, releases, bonds and waivers.
