City of Redwood City esign-Builder Selection <br />EXHIBIT "B" <br /> <br /> LUMP SUM FEE DEFINITION <br /> <br /> FOR THE <br /> <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> FIRE STATION NUMBER 11 <br /> <br /> March 1999 <br /> <br />D-B's Lump Sum Fee shall include full headquarters office overhead and profit for both <br />the design, pm-construction, and bidding and construction phases of the project. The <br />following items shall be included in the fee and shall not be a reimbursable cost of the <br />work. <br /> <br />· All architectural and engineering professional fees and reimbursable expenses. <br /> <br />· All state and local fees for permits or business license fees required to do business <br /> in the city and County of Redwood City. <br /> <br />· All time and expenses spent prior to this proposal or in the preparation of this <br /> proposal by D-B or prior to a contract for which D-B would expect reimbursement. <br /> <br />· Capital expenses, including interest on the D-B's working capital employed for the <br /> work. <br /> <br />· D-B profit. <br /> <br />· Federal, state, and local income and property taxes. <br /> <br />· Headquarters office or other office telephone/telegraph and facsimile charges. <br /> <br />· Headquarters office overhead, general, legal, and accounting expenses and all other <br /> expenses incurred at D-B's principal office or other offices or locations. <br /> <br />· Miscellaneous copying, postage, delivery, and priority mail services emanating from <br /> the headquarters office. <br /> <br />· Overhead, general, insurance, legal and accounting services, and all employee <br /> expenses at D-B's principal offices and other offices or locations other than the field <br /> office. <br /> <br />· Insurance premiums necessary to meet City requirements. <br /> <br />C:~back456~wkgfls~990 lO,RFP Page 27 of 32 <br />3/09/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
