Such insurance company shall be authorized to transact business in <br /> the State of California. <br /> <br /> 7. VENDOR agrees to provide the TAXI SERVICE as described in <br /> Attachment "B," attached hereto and incorporated by this reference. <br /> <br /> 8. Vendor agrees to train and instruct all drivers and dispatch operators <br /> regarding the TAXI SERVICE program and the processes and <br /> procedures to follow when booking and fulfilling taxi shuttle service <br /> trips. <br /> <br /> 9. VENDOR agrees to maintain a minimum of two (2) taxis available for <br /> TAXI SERVICE between the hours of 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 3:30 <br /> AM 'FO 7:30 PM during the normal five (5) day workweek. VENDOR <br /> is not required to operate TAXI SERVICE on mutually agreed upon <br /> holidays. <br /> <br /> 10. In the AM service period, VENDOR agrees to pick up PARTICIPANTS <br /> who have made reservations at the PARTICIPANT'S requested pick- <br /> up stop within the time ranges given in Attachment "C," attached <br /> hereto and incorporated by this reference, and titled, 'q'axi Service <br /> Time Window Chart." <br /> <br /> 11. If VENDOR fails to pick up any individual PARTICIPANT within the <br /> requested time ranges given in Attachment C more than twice in a <br /> calendar month, each subsequent late pickup for that individual <br /> PARTICIPANT shall be provided by the VENDOR at no cost to the <br /> CITY or PARTICIPANT. <br /> <br /> 12. In the PM service period, VENDOR agrees to have at least one (1) <br /> taxi meet each and every Caltrain arriving at the San Carlos Caltrain <br /> Station between the hours of 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM. <br /> <br /> 13. In the PM service period when two (2) or more trains are scheduled to <br /> arrive within ten (10) minutes of each other, VENDOR can instruct <br /> drivers to wait a maximum of ten (10) minutes from the time they have <br /> a PARTICIPANT request a ride home for additional trains to arrive in <br /> order to collect additional riders. <br /> <br /> 14.
