Item No. 8 (continued( Vice Mayor Chandler, representative to the Peninsula Water Agency, reported that the Agency is moving slowly in the area of water conservation and suggested it might be worthwhile for Redwood City to take the lead in writing the Agency and the Peninsula Water Users group to suggest a water conservation program be undertaken. M /S: LaBerge /Stangel to accept the report of the City Manager of April 23, 1987, regarding a water conservation program and to establish a three - member committee of Council members to be known as the Water Planning Committee with members appointed by the Mayor.
