Oral communications (continued) <br />Albert Davies, 1101 E1 Camino Real, referred to the abatement of nuisance on <br />his property at 124 Lincoln Avenue (See RESOLUTION NO. 10579 CONDEMNING <br />BUILDINGS AT 124 LINCOLN AVENUE AS PUBLIC NUISANCE AND DIRECTING REMOVAL <br />THEREOF within 30 days of 8/10/87). Mr. Davies said that he has now removed <br />all but a 12'x12' room with no plumbing which he suggested might pass <br />building inspection and could be used for storage or a foreman's office for <br />future construction on the site. He asked to have the structure removed from <br />the demolition order. In response to question, Mr. Davies said he does not <br />have a building permit for the structure. <br />In response to questions, City Attorney Schricker said that demolition was <br />ordered and time has run out on the order; that Mr. Davies' request suggests <br />a temporary use which is not in compliance with the Code; and that the <br />Building Official has been given jurisdiction in the matter. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />EXECUTIVE SESSIONS <br />City Attorney Schricker said that no executive session with regard to <br />litigation is now needed. <br />M /S: Stangel /Brit schgi to adjourn to executive session for the purpose of <br />considering personnel matters and to reconvene solely to adjourn. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and Council adjourned to Executive Session <br />at 9:25 p.m. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, Council adjourned at 10:10 p.m. <br />JACQUELINE C.
