Council Member Howard - stated that the Redwood City PACT program begins <br />in April and is an opportunity to learn how city government works and participate <br />with city staff in the workings of the various departments and projects in the <br />community. She recommended visiting the City website under the PACT section <br />or calling 780-7300 for more information. <br /> <br />E. Mayor Ira - stated that the second session of the Community Builders program is <br />January 27 at the Library. He further stated that the next Council meeting is <br />February 7, with a budget ~tudy session scheduled for February 5, 8:30 a.m. at <br />the main library. <br /> <br />E. Vice Mayor Pierce - as Council representative on the Parks meeting, she <br />requested scheduling a time for Council to receive information about the Parks <br />and receive input. Subsequent discussion on skeleton design for funding, design <br />for governance and source for funds is in the near future and Vice Mayor Pierce <br />is seeking input from Council. <br /> <br />F. Council Member Foust - stated that she would like to bring back the discussion <br />of the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District. She stated her concern after the <br />recent Board meeting and the recommendation of the Superintendent.
