A. Options for 2233 Middlefield Road (Opfer Property); (Public Hearing took place on 2/25/02); (304) Recommendation: That the City Council approve the Development Agreement (DA) as attached, by introducing an ordinance: ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND JEFF OPFER, AUTHORIZED AGENT FOR AND ON BEHALF OF ROY E. OPFER AND MARGARET L. OPFER, AS TRUSTEES UNDER THE TERMS OF SAID DECLARATION OF TRUST DATED SEPTEMBER 2, 1983 ("OWNER") AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS WITH RESPECT THERETO; Mayor Claire stated a request by the applicant is to continue the item to a future meeting. Council Member Jordan asked if there would be any adverse effect to continuing the item. City Manager Everett stated there would be no adverse effects to continuing the item to either May 6 or 20. M/S Hartnett/Jordan to grant the request to continue the item to the next reasonably available Council meeting at which the appropriate representatives of the applicant will be in attendance as well as the sufficient members of Council. Legislation - This sub-section involves possible discussion of City Position on Proposed Legislation Described in the League of California Cities Priority Focus Bulletin No. 14-2002 and Bulletin No. 15-2002.
