Status report re nuisance abatement of building at 109 <br />Wilson Street (per Council request 12/16/85) (702 -11) <br />Community Development Director Schroeter reported that the prospective owner <br />of the building who wishes to move it to another location and rehabilitate it <br />has requested bids from four contractors and one has responded to date. <br />Also, the prospective owner is still negotiating for property in the <br />Stambaugh Street area where he hopes to move it. <br />In response to question, Mr. Schroeter said that a reasonable wait has been <br />in order in this case, but there should not be excessive delay before <br />proceeding to abate a public nuisance. <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Britschgi determined it to be the consensus of Council to <br />wait another week in the matter of the proposed public nuisance abatement of <br />the building at 109 Wilson Street and that a status report be made at the <br />next Council meeting on January 13, 1986. <br />MEMO 1/9/86 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />7. Report re Liability Insurance (702 -04) <br />Assistant Finance Director Ponty reported that Planet, the primary insurance <br />carrier for joint powers insurance, has rejected the City for liability <br />insurance coverage because some underwriters refused us.
