Item No.2 (continued) <br />the long run to resurface that street at the same time it is being restri ped <br />in accordance with the recommendations already adopted by Council a year ago. <br />No consideration of the resurfacing is necessary now, since cost figures are <br />not known. <br />The following persons described the problems listed i n the Report of 2/11/85 <br />and urged Council to implement the recommendations also stated in that <br />Report: <br />Richard Gamberg, 1588 Alameda <br />Carol Beaty, 1596 Alameda <br />Robert Page, 1621 Alameda <br />Peter Sil acci , 1681 Alameda, disagreed with his neighbors regarding the <br />sources of problems and suggested that any problems can be solved if <br />overnight parking is prohibited on the street. Mr. Sil acci said that as far <br />as he can observe, the street does not need resurfacing. <br />Title read. Approval of plans and specifications, call for bids - <br />Shorebird Neighborhood Park (702-02) <br />Report: Director of Parks and Recreation 4/17/86 <br />Director of Parks and Recreation Griffiths referred to a large sketch of the <br />proposed park and described details of the plan. <br />In response to question, Director of Public Works Addiego said that rest <br />rooms are proposed to be bid as an optional alternative, because their <br />estimated cost of some $71,000 would represent a large part of the $387,000 <br />budgeted for construction of the park.
