Mr. Irmer <br />said it might be possible to consider development of the James Streetl <br />Jefferson Avenue area with a focus on only corrmerc ia 1 development. <br /> <br />In response to question, Mr. Smith said that property owners in the <br />redevelopment area may participate in development, but it is not a practical <br />approach, and that it might be poss ib le to develop a concept plan for a <br />project of reduced scope that would include a railway station. <br /> <br />M/S: Chandler/Britschgi to terminate negotiations with Innisfree Corrpanies <br />for development of the Gateway Redeveloppment Sub-Area and to direct staff <br />to prepare a concept plan generally along the lines of "opportunity areas" <br />with staff doing so independently at this time. <br /> <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />MINUTE ORDER NO.
