Special Election - Proposed Charter amendments <br />In response to question, City Attorney Schricker said that Council members <br />may vote to place the three proposed Charter amendments on the ballot for the <br />Special Election and may then individually take positions in favor of or <br />against each of the measures. <br />M /S: Chandler /LaBerge <br />a. RESOLUTION NO. 10296 OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY PROPOSING CERTAIN <br />AMENDMENTS TO THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND ORDERING <br />SUBMISSION THEREOF TO THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AT A <br />SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HEREIN CALLED FOR SUCH PURPOSE ON NOVEMBER 4, <br />1986; AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br />TO CONSOLIDATE SAID ELECTION WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE <br />HELD ON SAID DATE <br />b.
