Item No. 1 (continued) SEE Page 2 <br />COPY <br />R E S O L U T I O N N O. 1 O '1g DEC 08 1986 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULTS OF SPECIAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, 1986 <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Redwood City, pursuant to Resolution <br />No. 10296, adopted August 4, 1986, proposed certain amendments to <br />the Charter of the City of Redwood City, ordered submission <br />thereof to the electors of said City at a Special Municipal <br />Election therein called for such purpose on November 4, 1986, and <br />requested the Board of'Supervisors of the County of San Mateo to <br />consolidate said Election with the Statewide General Election on <br />said date; and <br />WHEREAS, said Special Municipal Election was held on <br />Tuesday, November 4, 1986 in accordance with law, and the votes <br />thereat received and canvassed, and the results thereof <br />determined and certified in all respects as required by law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, and <br />is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of <br />this Council as a statement of the results of said Election. <br />2.
