MINUTE ORDER <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEET1NG <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> May 6, 2002 <br /> MO RD 02-11 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: May 8, 2002 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br /> Planning Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: South Main Street Redevelopment Planning Area <br /> <br />Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City on May 6, <br />2002 <br /> <br />Present: Directors Jordan, Howard, Ruskin, Pierce, Vice Mayor Ira and <br />Mayor Claire <br />Absent: Hartnett <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br />M/S Ruskin/Howard to accept the staff recommendation as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the March 25, 2002 staff report still be regarded as the "plan" <br /> document for this entire area but with the following changes: <br /> 2) That the Board direct staff to only begin the Owner Participation <br /> process within the Phase I area bounded by Maple Street, Lathrop <br /> Street and El Camino Real and that proposals only respond to the <br /> Phase I area; <br /> 3) That the Board clarifies that any action with regard to Phase II (the <br /> area generally bounded by Maple Street, the railroad tracks, <br /> Chestnut Street, and Lathrop Street) will take subsequent action by <br /> the Redevelopment Board. An owner or other respondent to the <br /> Phase I offer to participate will not acquire any rights to <br /> develop/redevelop in the Phase II area. <br /> 4) Begin the formation of the stakeholder group for Phase II <br /> immediately; communicate the concept of the fast track process to <br /> them and communicate frequently and well with all stakeholders in <br /> the area. <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present. <br /> <br />Patricia Howe <br />Redevelopment Agency Secretary <br /> <br /> <br />
