Mr. Charles Jany
63 Oakwood Ave.
Page 2

Project Cost and Management

Work will be billed in quarter-hour increments at the rate of $125 per hour for my time, $85 per
hour for the work of MHA's Environmental Scientists, and $70 per hour for MHA's Document
Manager. All hours worked will be accounted for in detail and invoiced to the City on a monthly
basis. Direct expenses incurred in the performance of this work, including but not limited to
printing and copying, photo processing, etc., will be invoiced to the City with a 15% administrative
mark-up. No mileage or travel expenses are anticipated. Project costs are estimated at $9,923, as
outlined in the attached budget.

The proposed budget is assumed to include only those meetings specified in the scope.
Additional rneetings may be accornmodated on a tirne and rnaterials basis. The budget also
assumes that the City of Redwood City will copy and distribute all staff reports and the
environrnental document.

The project estimate is not intended to be a "not-to-exceed" figure, as project and process
uncertainties cannot be predicted. The budget shall not, however, exceed the estimate without the
express written perrnission of the City, after consultation with the project applicant.

As project manager for MHA, I will be responsible for all of the tasks outlined in the scope of work,
including attendance at all meetings with staff, the applicant, and boards and commissions. I will
be assisted by Tania Treis and/or Kathy Rushmore, environmental scientists with MHA, and by
Roger Luc, MHA's Document Manager. Ms. Treis and/or Ms. Rushmore will provide research
support, collect data and develop tables to accompany written materials. Mr. Luc will provide
graphics and formatting support. No other personnel or subcontractors will be used without the
consent of the City of Redwood City.

Thank you for your consideration. Please contact me if you have any questions or require
additional information.

Sincerely,

~.À-~~

Curtis S.
