Item No. 15 (continued) Director of Public Works Addiego reviewed the proposed alternatives given in the report, and City Manager Smith recommended that if none of the alternatives are acceptable, the Council might wish to refer the matter to the Park and Recreation Commisssion. With regard to the Hetch- Hetchy right -of -way, Mayor Britschgi expressed concern regarding the time element for consideration by the Park and Recreation Commission, in view of the letters he has been receiving from senior groups. City Manager Smith noted that Sally Hartman, Parks and Recreation Superintendent, is present, and can relay the requests to the Commissioners.
