Commissioner Bennett presented the report on "Capital Improvements 1984/85 ". <br />Commissioner Small presented the report on "Recreation /Light Commercial <br />Areas ". <br />Commissioner Smith presented the report on "Current Operations ". <br />President Dodge presented the report on "Future Plans and Objectives ". Mr. <br />Dodge introduced David Zaugg who is joining the Port staff as Port Marketing <br />specialist and presented a check in the amount of $100,000 to Council in <br />accordance with Port policy. Mayor Britschgi accepted the check for the City <br />General Fund. <br />In response to a request for submittal of the complete report to Council in <br />advance of the Joint Meeting in the future, President Dodge said that the <br />final financial material had been received only two days before the meeting. <br />He suggested the annual event could be held a few weeks later in the year in <br />order to allow time for preparation and distribution of the report in advance <br />if that is desired. <br />----------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, the Joint Meeting adjourned at 9 :05 p.m., with <br />the City Council adjourning to a meeting at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, <br />1985 in the City Hall Conference Room for the purpose of considering <br />appointment of an acting finance director. <br />JACQUELINE C.
