Non - Agenda Item. Oak Avenue Reconstruction
Public Works Director Addiego presented his report to the City Manager of
October 2, 1985 regarding Oak Avenue Reconstruction. Mr. Addiego reported
that the consultant did not provide for replacement of the old sewer main in
a 700 -foot section of the project between Redwood Creek and Ebener Street.
The sewer main is shallow therefore replacement is essential at this time so
that the project may proceed. Mr. Addiego recommended that the estimated
$148,000 cost for replacement be taken from the sewer rehabilitation fund
which has more than an adequate balance to cover the work.
MOTION: Stangel /Rhodes to authorize the necessary Change Order in order to
proceed immediately with the replacement of the old sewer main in the Redwood
Creek to Ebener Street portion of the Oak Avenue Reconstruction Project and
that the necessary document be placed on the City Council Agenda for October
14, 1985.
Carried unanimously by voice vote.
MINUTE ORDER NO. 85 -151
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the City Council adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
JACQUELINE C.
