SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY AND PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. Public Hearing - Nuisance abatement, dilapidated <br />building - 1156 Cleveland (continued open from 8/26/85 <br />and 10/14/85) (702 -11) <br />Report of City Manager and Community Development Director 10/17/85 <br />(see also Report of City Manager and Chief Building Official 7/30/85) <br />Mayor Britschgi noted that the public hearing was continued open. <br />Housing Coordinator Church presented the subject report and replied to <br />questions relating to proposed financing of rehabilitation should Council <br />decide to proceed in that direction at a later date. <br />M /S: Stangel /Chandler to continue the public hearing regarding nuisance <br />abatement at 1156 Cleveland open for 60 days in accordance with the <br />recommendation in the City Manager's Report of October 17, 1985, and to <br />require a progress report from staff within 30 days relating to whether or <br />not the property owners have remedied all housekeeping and zoning violations <br />and that no new problems have appeared. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 85 -163 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />2. Public Hearing - Nuisance abatement, dilapidated <br />building - 109 Wilson (702 -11) <br />Report of City Manager and Chief Building Official 9/26/85 <br />Chief Building Official Malkemus presented the subject report and said that <br />the property owners had told him by telephone today that they agree with the <br />report and do not oppose the proposed abatement. <br />Mayor Britschgi declared the public hearing open at 7:52 p.m. and invited <br />anyone who wished to speak to do so. No one wished to speak. <br />M /S: Chandler /Stangel to close the public hearing. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and public hearing closed at 7 :54 p.m. <br />Title read.
