General - Non - Agenda Items (continued) <br />2. Mayor Britschgi referred to the memo from the City Clerk of October 16, <br />1985, transmitting the application of Stephen D. Heath for appointment to <br />the Housing Rehabilitation Program Loan Committee. <br />Councilman Stangel, Council representative on the Committee noted that <br />Mr. Heath is known to Council and is well - qualified to be the financial <br />institution representative on the Committee. <br />M /S: Mosher /Chandler to appoint Stephen D. Heath to the Housing <br />Rehabilitation Program Loan Committee effective immediately. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER N0. 85 -167 <br />3. Councilman Rhodes inquired about the asphalt sidewalks on Roosevelt <br />Avenue stating that any such construction should be stopped. <br />Director of Public Works Addiego reported that total reconstruction of <br />Roosevelt Avenue involving much underground work is under way and cannot <br />be completed in the current construction season which is just ending, so <br />temporary sidewalks have been constructed of asphalt /concrete which is <br />easier to remove than the usual concrete next season when the job can be <br />completed. Mr. Addiego assured Council there will be no sidewalk <br />construction of asphalt /concrete. <br />-------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />M /S: Chandler / Stangel to adjourn. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and Council adjourned at 8:20 p.m. <br />JACQUELINE C.
