Professional services agreement for Redwood Shores <br />Transportation Study (Crain & Associates, Inc.) <br />(702 -02) <br />Report of City Manager and Community Development Director 10/31/85 <br />Community Development Director Schroeter presented the subject report, <br />stating that it is expected that the proposed study will implement <br />development of a transportation management program to move people without the <br />traffic strangulation being experienced elsewhere as a result of new <br />development. In response to question, Mr. Schroeter said that the study is <br />being conducted by the public agencies of Redwood City and Belmont and that <br />there will be a technical advisory committee (TAC) which will include <br />representative of Cal Trans, SamTrans, Redwood Shores Homeowners Association <br />and others with an interest in the result. <br />Title read. Federal Aid Urban (FAU) Submittals (801 -03) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Public Work 10/22/85 <br />In response to question with regard to the position of Council members who <br />wish to vote for the proposed resolution but do not support every street <br />project proposed to be submitted for FAU funding, City Attorney Schricker <br />recommended they might vote for the resolution and state for the record their <br />objections to any part of it. <br />Mayor Britschgi and Councilman Stangel stated for the record that they do not <br />believe FAU funding should be given to the Jefferson Avenue Reconstruction <br />Project as a high priority. <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 46 <br />Page No. 92 <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />11/4/85 <br />Page 4 <br />
