Article 29 CO (Commercial Office) regarding the creation of a new district for <br />larger scale office centers on certain arterial streets and in areas with visibility <br />from U.S. Highway 101, to the Zoning Ordinance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by this Council on February 26, <br />2001, on the amendment to the Zoning Ordinance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council reviewed the recommendation of the Planning <br />Commission, considered the evidence received at the above referred public <br />hearing, and recommended that certain guidelines be established regarding the <br />applicability of the proposed ordinance to development projects with certain <br />planning approvals. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the amendments to the Ordinance (the "Amendments"), as <br />set forth in Ordinance 1130-310, were adopted by this Council on March 12, <br />2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council having considered the evidence received at the <br />public hearing duly noticed and held on March 26, 2001, in connection with the <br />approval of this ordinance, finds that the proposed amendments set forth in this <br />ordinance are in the public interest and consistent with the purposes of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Now Therefore: <br /> <br /> The Council of Redwood City does ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Ordinance 1130~310 is hereby amended by adding the following: <br /> <br />Ord-127a -) <br />flshlshlRClCouncillOrd <br />FXS:rg <br />03/21/01 ;03/22/01R;03/27/01 R <br /> <br /> 2209 <br /> <br /> <br />
