Councilman Chandler, Chairman of the Mobi lehome Owners Rent Stabilization <br />Study Committee, reviewed his report of March 11, 1985, distributed this <br />evening stating he expects to have recommendations to present to Council in <br />April. Councilman Chandler noted for the record that park owners have agreed <br />to making no rent increases since last September, while Committee work has <br />been pending. (301 -06) <br />2. Councilman Stangel reported on the status of work being done by the private <br />committee considering the possibility of having a baseball stadium <br />constructed in Redwood City, noting that San Mateo County officials are <br />involved also. (301 ) <br />3. Mayor Britschgi reported the motion from the Planning Commission asking the <br />City Council to go on record with the Board of Supervisors objecting to the <br />design and location of the new County jail in Redwood City. (704 -05) <br />M /S: Chandler /Mosher that the Mayor write to the Board of Supervisors of San <br />Mateo County to go on record in opposition to the design and location of the <br />new jail in Redwood City. <br />Carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 85 -34 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />M /S: Mosher /Chandler to adjourn to executive session to consider personnel <br />matters and to reconvene solely to adjourn. <br />Carried unanimously by roll call vote and City Council adjourned at 9:40 p.m. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the City Council adjourned at 10:30 <br />p.m. to a joint meeting with the Planning Commission and Port Commission at 7:30 <br />p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 1985 in the Veterans Building for a presentation of waste <br />energy facility by Combustion Engineering Company. <br />JACQUELINE C.
