(1205 -02) <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MONTHLY CHARGES FOR THE MAKING OF SANITARY <br />INSPECTIONS AND FOR THE COLLECTION AND REMOVAL OF REFUSE IN THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Finance 2/23/84 <br />Report of City Manager 2/27/84 <br />Councilman Rhodes, representative to the South County Garbage and Refuse <br />Disposal District Board reported that the last load to be accepted at the <br />Marsh Road dump site will be 5:00 p.m., on April 2 instead of May 1 as <br />Menlo Park had originally informed the Board. Councilman Rhodes said that <br />he and another Board representative will appear before the Menlo Park City <br />Council on February 28 to request that the site be kept open as long past <br />the April 1 date as possible. <br />City Manager Smith referred to his report of February 27 just distributed <br />to Council regarding the update on the City -wide cleanup in view of the <br />dump site closing date having been changed, noting that the cleanup <br />provides a convenient, less expensive way for citizens to have refuse <br />hauled away than having to do so individually to the Ox Mountain site. <br />M /S: Bury /Claire: to accept the subject report from the Refuse Collection <br />Committee (Reports of City Manager of 2/23 and 2/27/84) and take no action <br />on the proposed resolution at this time. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. MINUTE ORDER N0. 84 -36 <br />Director of Finance Tasseff stated that a meeting of cities will take place <br />on March 14 regarding the setting of dumping rates, and he will report back <br />after that date. GID 1 -64 Capital Improvement Program, 1984 Capital <br />Budget and 1984 -88 Capital Budget Program (401 -03) <br />Report of City Manager 2/22/84 (Title: Facilities Fee Management <br />Committee) <br />Director of Public Works Addiego described the subject program using slides <br />listing projects in 1984 and costs related to them. <br />In response to suggestion, Mr. Addiego said that he will arrange to have <br />whatever safety features possible installed on Redwood Shores Parkway, <br />noting that no power is available for lighting at this time. <br />Reg.
