Item No. 5 (continued) <br />Mr. Addiego displayed a slide depicting the timetable for the project. <br />Planning Director Schroeter stated that reconstruction and improvement of <br />Roosevelt Avenue was viewed separately from three different points of view: <br />appearance, use of the street as a speedway and the need for on- street <br />parking. The recommended project takes into consideration all three to the <br />extent possible. <br />Nita Spangler, 970 Edgewood Road, stated that consideration has not been <br />given to the use.of Roosevelt by bicyclists and requested such <br />consideration be given to the project. <br />City Manager Smith said that he will provide to Council a list of streets <br />which are similar to Roosevelt and the proposed improvements so that <br />members may inspect them. <br />AMENDMENT TO MOTION: Vice Mayor Britschgi, with the consent of his second, <br />added to his motion that the subject be placed on the March 5, 1984 City <br />Council agenda for consideration at that time. <br />The motion as amended carried unanimously by voice vote <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 84 -38 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />6.
