C:djg -c 4/12/84 <br />:djg -c 4/12/84R <br />SWC:djg -c 4/16/84R <br />ORIGINAL RESOLUTION NO. 955 APR 16i984 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 10, 1984 <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, by <br />Resolution No. 9532, duly passed and adopted on March 5, 1984, <br />designated the precincts and polling places and appointed the <br />members of the precinct boards for the general election to be <br />held in said City of Redwood City on April 10, 1984, as required <br />by law, for the objects and purposes of: <br />(1) electing the following municipal officers of the City of <br />Redwood City: <br />Four (4) Council members for the full term of four (4) years <br />each; and <br />(2) submitting to the voters eight (8) charter amendment <br />proposals; and <br />WHEREAS, said general municipal election was held on <br />Tuesday, April 10, 1984, in accordance with law, and the votes <br />thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof <br />ascertained, determined and declared in all respects as required <br />by law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Reg .'1tg . <br />4/16/84 <br />Page 6 <br />9554 <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 44 <br />Page No. 419.a <br />
