Agreement with PG &E Company for Gas Transmission Line <br />#101 <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 5/4/84 <br />Director of Public Works Addiego presented the subject report using a <br />projection of the proposed gas main route and described the conditions <br />required in the agreement. <br />David Altscher, PG &E Company, said that it is expected the line will be <br />completed in 3 to 3 -1/2 months. <br />In response to questions, Mr. Addiego and Mr. Altscher said the route is the <br />most convenient possible and that the required conditions are intended to <br />insure that the line is constructed as quickly and with as little <br />inconvenience to the adjacent properties as possible. <br />Title read. San Francisco Water Department agreements <br />Reports of City Manager and Director of Public Works 5/10/84 <br />Report of City Attorney 5/11/84 <br />Director of Public Works Addiego presented slides as follows: 1) Redwood <br />City Water Service Area indicating Hetch Hetchy connections and inter utility <br />ties; 2) list of Bay Area Water Users; 3) City water consumption; 4) San <br />Francisco Water Department total deliveries; 5) Redwood City water <br />consumption, including projections to 2003. <br />Discussion followed and Mr. Addiego and Mr. Schricker replied to questions <br />and commented about anticipated future needs; the need for a practical <br />solution now; the desirability of developing alternate sources of water and <br />long range planning to meet needs; and the lack of objections from any other <br />users. <br />Reg.
