15. Report on Fifth Avenue Storm Drain Project <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 5/10/84 <br />Councilman Claire reported on the status of the studies by the Committee with <br />representatives of the Board of Supervisors, City Council, City staff and the <br />consultant, Brian - Kangas -Foulk and Associates. <br />Director of Public Works Addiego referred to the subject report and the <br />studies funded by the City and by the County, stating that more specific <br />information will be provided in late June 1984. <br />Dave Evans, Brian - Kangas -Foulk and Associates, 595 Price Avenue, made a slide <br />presentation concerning the problems in the subject area, possible solutions <br />and the means of funding the needed improvements. <br />M /S: Mosher /Claire to receive the report on the Fifth Avenue Storm Drain and <br />Bayfront Canal Investigation studies and direct the City staff to proceed and <br />finalize the negotiations with the consulting firm of Brian - Kangas -Foulk and <br />Associates to develop the necessary agreement to commence the design, plans <br />and specifications and bid documents for the Fifth Avenue - Hoover Project. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. MINUTE ORDER NO. 84 -83 <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Mayor Britschgi noted that item 17 relating to destruction of records has been <br />removed from the agenda and will be considered at the meeting of June 4, 1984. <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Britschgi determined it to be the consensus of Council that item <br />20 relating to council member compensation be referred to the Personnel Committee <br />to be considered along with the bill being offered by Governor Deukmejian on the <br />same subject for general law cities. <br />Title read. M /S: Bury /Mosher to waive reading of the Consent Calendar, except <br />the ordinance title, adopt the resolutions and approve other items. <br />carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />16. RESOLUTION NO. 9581 REQUESTING METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION TO <br />REALLOCATE A TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT ARTICLE 3 GRANT TO CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY <br />17. Removed <br />18.
