Report re Traffic Signals, East Bayshore and Seaport <br />Boulevard (1104 -01) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 5/30/$4 <br />City Manager Smith and Director of Public Works Addiego referred to a wall <br />map of the subject area and Mr. Addiego described long range traffic <br />improvement plans relating to future roads from Dumbarton Bridge, <br />acknowledging a problem exists at the intersection, as stated by Golden State <br />Mobilehome Owners League in their communication of April 18, 1984, and that <br />solutions are costly. <br />M /S: Chandler /Claire to refer the subject report to staff with the <br />recommendation that the financing of needed improvements be investigated and <br />that it might be possible to extend East Bayshore to the Seaport /Blomquist <br />intersection as an interim solution that would be part of a later traffic <br />improvement rather than spend $90,000 or more for a traffic signal which <br />might have to be moved later. <br />I I <br />Carol Banqert, Golden State Mobilhome Owners League, spoke in favor of the <br />motion. — <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote.
