15. ORDINANCE NO. 1898 ADDING SECTION 26.8 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY RELATING TO LEVEL I RESERVE OFFICER CERTIFICATIONS (approved 6/4/84) <br />16. Approval of warrant nos. 19319 through 19507 Approved <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS /ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />None <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />GENERAL <br />1. Mayor Britschgi referred to a letter just received from John Cooper regarding <br />enforcement of the ordinance relating to posting of campaign signs and asked <br />that an item be placed on the City Council Agenda for June 25, 1984, on the <br />general subject and that Mr. Cooper be invited to make his presentation at <br />that time. <br />(MEMO 6/22/84) <br />2. Mayor Britschgi called attention to a request received from the Military <br />Vehicle Collectors Club for the tank in Mezes Park. City Manager Smith said <br />that the request has been referred to the Director of Parks and Recreation <br />for reply in accordance with usual procedure in response to such requests. <br />(MEMO 6/22/84) <br />3. Mayor Britschgi referred to the letter from MTC of May 31, 1984, regarding <br />SCR 74 Peninsula Mass Transit Study. Mr. Smith said he will put a report <br />from the staff representative in the Council packets soon. <br />(MEMO 6/22/84) <br />4. Mayor Britschgi called attention to a letter of June 1, 1984, from High <br />Technology Science Center regarding site selection for the Center and <br />inviting Redwood City to submit a proposal. Mr. Smith said he has written <br />the President of Redwood Shores, Inc., inquiring as to his knowledge and <br />interest and will report the reply to Council when received. <br />5. Councilman Bury distributed copies of a petition from Denise and Paul <br />Mersereau, 510 King Street, and several neighbors requesting an arterial <br />stop sign at the corners of Harrison and King Streets.
