Public Hearing - Application to rezone property at 1709 <br />East Bayshore Road from TP (Tidal Plain) District to IR <br />(Industrial -- Restricted) District - Pacific Gas & <br />Electric Company, applicant (203 -02) <br />Planning Commission record transmitted 8/9/84 <br />Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Hearing and of Mailing are on file. <br />Mayor Britschgi declared public hearing open at 11:31 p.m. <br />Councilman Rhodes left his chair, stating he will neither participate in any <br />discussion nor vote as he holds stock in PG &E Company. <br />In response to question, City Attorney Schricker said that if a Council <br />member is merely a stockholder he or she would not be prevented from <br />participating unless the amount of stock held was very substantial. <br />Mayor Britschgi invited anyone present who wished to speak to do so.
