Item No. 15 (continued) <br />City Manager Smith said that Dividend is requesting another public hearing on <br />their request which was previously denied. <br />Mayor Britschgi reported meeting with Mayor Stiff, former mayor of Woodside, <br />and others regarding the subject. <br />Richard Oliver, author of the subject letter, reported that Woodside has <br />refused to agree that the 1.3 acre parcel involved be annexed to Redwood <br />City, referring to his letter giving the Town's stated reasons for the <br />refusal. He asked Council to consider again his request for the sewer <br />hookup. <br />Discussion followed concerning access to the site; alternatives available to <br />Dividend; and whether the matter might not be referred to LAFCO for <br />resolution in view of the disagreement between the cities. <br />Director of Public Works Addiego said that it is practical to connect the <br />property to Redwood City lines, although it is in Woodside, and Woodside <br />benefits from property taxes.
