GENERAL <br />1. Mayor Britschgi referred to a request from Councilman Gus Nicolopulos of I` <br />South San Francisco requesting that he be returned by the City Selection <br />Committee to the Bay Area Air Quality Board. Mayor Britschgi said that he <br />would support him, unless there is objection. There was no objection. <br />2. Mayor Britschgi referred to a letter from Dorothy Myers, 944 Stony Hi 11 Road, <br />Redwood City, requesting the Council to consider adopting a non - smoking law <br />of the type recently adopted by the City of San Jose. <br />M /S: Rhodes /Mosher to consider adoption of an ordinance against smoking of <br />the type adopted by the City of San Jose. <br />carried by majority voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 84 -199 <br />3. Mayor Britschgi called attention to the letter of Nobember 20, 1984, from the <br />California Energy Commission commending the City for its participation in the <br />1983 Fuel Efficient Traffic Signal Management Program. <br />4.
