Vice Mayor Britschgi stated he would be unable to attend the meeting of <br />the Revenue and Taxation Committee of the League of California Cities in <br />San Mateo at 10 :00 a.m. on Friday, January 7 and asked that the City be <br />represented there. <br />City Manager Smith said that he would ask Finance Director Tasseff to <br />attend. <br />(Memo 1/4/83) <br />2. Councilman Mosher commented regarding the Christmas Party at the Fair Oaks <br />Community Center and requested that all of the contributors be thanked for <br />their part in the event. Mayor Stangel offered the Council's appreciation to the agencies providing <br />free taxi service on the New Year's weekend in an effort to avoid <br />automobile accidents. <br />4. Councilman Bury reported on attending the installation ceremony for <br />Supervisors Eshoo and Ward, District Attorney Fox and Sheriff Maguire. <br />Councilman Bury requested that a resolution commending outgoing Supervisor <br />Bacciocco be presented to him. <br />--------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried City Council adjourned to an executive <br />session for the purpose of considering labor relations at 9:12 p.m. and will <br />reconvene solely to adjourn. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried City Council adjourned at 10 :30 p.m. <br />to an executive session at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 1983 in the City <br />Manager's Office, cancelled the meeting regularly scheduled for Monday, <br />January 10, 1983 and adjourned to the information meeting with the Redwood Shores <br />Homeowners Association at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, 1983 at Marine World. <br />JACQUELINE C.
