Intersection improvements - Jefferson Avenue and Adams <br />Street (1101 -01) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 2/7/83 <br />Director of Public Works Addiego reported that the recommended inter- <br />section improvements were made in response to a petition from residents of <br />the subject area requesting some type of traffic control device to improve <br />safety at the intersection, noting that approval would mean only that the <br />project would be submitted in the Public Works Department proposed budget <br />for 1983 -84 so that a priority could be established for its construction <br />at such time as funds might be available to do so. <br />William Bowler, 1261 Jefferson Avenue, resident of the neighborhood, said <br />that neighbors are anxious to have the proposed improvements at the inter- <br />section and urged Council to approve them. <br />M /S: Biagi /Claire to approve Alternative #4 Improvements for intersection <br />of Jefferson Avenue and Adams Street so that the project can be considered <br />in budget deliberations for 1983 -84. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. Report re request of Brian - Kangas -Foulk & Associates re <br />annexation of property, 1715 East Bayshore Road (702 -07) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 2/24/83 <br />City Manager Smith reported that the representative of Brian - Kangas -Foulk <br />& Associates had requested that consideration of the subject matter be <br />postponed at least 30 days. <br />M /S: Biagi/Mosher to postpone consideration of the request of <br />Brian - Kangas -Foulk & Associates re annexation of property, 1715 East <br />Bayshore Road at least 30 days in response to request of applicant. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote.
