Intersection improvements - Jefferson Avenue and Adams Street (1101 -01) Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 2/7/83 Director of Public Works Addiego reported that the recommended inter- section improvements were made in response to a petition from residents of the subject area requesting some type of traffic control device to improve safety at the intersection, noting that approval would mean only that the project would be submitted in the Public Works Department proposed budget for 1983 -84 so that a priority could be established for its construction at such time as funds might be available to do so. William Bowler, 1261 Jefferson Avenue, resident of the neighborhood, said that neighbors are anxious to have the proposed improvements at the inter- section and urged Council to approve them. M /S: Biagi /Claire to approve Alternative #4 Improvements for intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Adams Street so that the project can be considered in budget deliberations for 1983 -84. Report re request of Brian - Kangas -Foulk & Associates re annexation of property, 1715 East Bayshore Road (702 -07) Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 2/24/83 City Manager Smith reported that the representative of Brian - Kangas -Foulk & Associates had requested that consideration of the subject matter be postponed at least 30 days. M /S: Biagi/Mosher to postpone consideration of the request of Brian - Kangas -Foulk & Associates re annexation of property, 1715 East Bayshore Road at least 30 days in response to request of applicant.
