ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> FOR TRAFFIC STUDY: 504 WHIPPLE AVENUE <br /> <br /> [HEXAGON TRANSPORTATION CONSULTANTS, INC.] <br /> / <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this I~day of May, 2002, by <br />and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation <br /> <br />of the State of California, ("City"), and HEXAGON TRANSPORTATION <br /> <br />CONSULTANTS, INC., of San Jose, California ("Consultant"). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City requires planning and traffic studies related to property <br />described as 504 Whipple Avenue, Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform professional <br />consulting services described in Exhibit "A' hereof, attached hereto and by this <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount based <br />upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the performance of <br />said services.
