Recommendations will be formulated that identify the <br /> locations and types of improvements or modifications necessary to mitigate significant off-site project <br /> impacts. Improvements could include street widenings, lane additions, changes in lane usage, traffic <br /> signal modifications, or transportation demand management measures. <br /> <br />14. Evaluation of Cumulative Conditions. Cumulative traffic volumes include additional traffic from <br /> proposed or foreseeable developments beyond what has been approved. City staff will provide <br /> Hexagon with descriptions (land use type and intensity/size, and access location) of the potential but <br /> not yet approved developments in the vicinity of the site. For each of these potential developments <br /> (up to ten developments), Hexagon will perform a trip generation, distribution, and assignment, based <br /> on engineering judgment, to the extent needed to establish cumulative trips at the two intersections <br /> included in this study. Any applicable roadway improvements that are foreseeable will be assumed as <br /> directed by city staff. Intersection level of service under cumulative conditions will be evaluated <br /> using TRAFFIX. <br /> <br />15. Meetings. The fee estimate includes attendance at one working meeting with city staffand attendance <br /> at one public hearing in connection with this study. <br /> <br />16. Draft Report. Hexagon's findings and recommendations will be summarized in a draft report <br /> submitted for review by city staff. <br /> <br />17. Final Report. Hexagon Transportation Consultants will respond to editorial comments from city <br /> staff, prepare the final report, and submit up to six copies. This task assumes eight hours of staff time. <br /> Additional hours will be billed as an additional service. <br /> <br />18. Additional Services. Any work not specifically referenced in the above Scope of Services--for <br /> example analyzing a different project description or revised site plan, analyzing additional <br /> intersections or scenarios, conducting additional intersection counts or other data collection efforts, <br /> conducting additional evaluations or analyses, or attending additional meetings--shall be considered <br /> additional services. <br /> <br />Time of Performance <br /> <br />Barring any unforeseen delays, a draft report will be submitted four weeks after receipt of authorization to <br />proceed and all data provided or required by the city. The final report will be delivered one week after <br />receipt of all review comments. Cognizant of your desired schedule, we are ready to start work <br />immediately upon authorization. <br /> <br />Cost for Services <br /> <br />The cost for services rendered under this agreement will be a lump sum amount of $14,680 for Work <br />Items 1 through 17, as outlined in our Scope of Services. This includes $800 for traffic counts. Work Item <br />18, Additional Services, shall be provided upon authorization and, if requested, will be billed separately. <br /> <br />We appreciate your consideration of Hexagon Transportation Consultants for this assignment.
