11. PUBLIC HEARING - <br /> <br /> A. GID 1-64 Development Agreement Extension: <br /> <br /> Senior Civil Engineer Chang stated that the purpose of the item is to receive <br /> public input and direction from Council on the concept of the structure for the new <br /> committee. He further stated that no approval of legal documents is being sought <br /> at this time. He stated that the concept for extending the development agreement <br /> is to be discussed at this time for 2002-2005. He continued to explain the <br /> backgreund on the subject. <br /> <br /> Mr. Chang stated the new proposal for a committee management structure would <br /> be comprised of one member from Redwood Shores Owners Association, one <br /> member frem Redwood Shores Business Center Association, one member from <br /> Redwood Shores Homeowners Association, one developer and two City staff <br /> members. <br /> <br /> Council asked various questions regarding the sunset clause <br /> <br /> Mayor Claire opened the public hearing. <br /> <br /> Patricia Dixon stated that Terry Andedini and the Board did vote to support the <br /> restructuring of the GID funds. She further stated, as a resident, that she was told <br /> there is not developer at this time and that she would like to see two or three <br /> residents of Redwood Shores on the Board. She further stated that they would like <br /> to have Shore widened. <br /> <br /> M/S Ruskin/Ira to close the public hearing. The motion passed by a unanimous <br /> voice vote. <br /> <br /> M/S Jordan/Howard to accept the staff recommendationwithout the sunset clause. <br /> The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. MINUTE ORDER 02-136 <br /> <br /> B. Appeal of a Planned Development Permit at 747 Southview Way; <br /> <br /> Principal Planner Passanisi described the project and showed various slides to <br /> explain the project. <br /> <br /> Mayor Claire opened the public hearing. <br /> <br /> Dale Koop stated that some of the zoning plan requirements have been met; <br /> however, there are many that have not been met. He pointed out that an <br /> environmental impact report was not provided to-address issues involving the <br /> underground spring, water drainage and runoff; and that the lot line adjustment <br /> was not approved by the San Mateo County Board, but is scheduled for <br /> consideration on July 17.
