Councilwoman Mosher inquired concerning the expenditures for Community <br />Promotion, noting that 85% of the 1983 -84 budget for that item appears to <br />have been expended. Director of Finance Tasseff stated that the item is <br />usually expended immediately since it includes only designated amounts for <br />the Chamber of Commerce, the Convention & Visitors Bureau and assistance <br />to the Peninsula Celebration Association for the Independence Day Parade, <br />and the agencies like to receive all of the funds as soon as possible. <br />Mr. Tasseff said he would provide written information regarding such <br />budget items.
