GENERAL <br />1. Councilman Biagi reported that he and Assistant to the City Manager Margolis <br />attended the State Assembly Local Government Committee hearing on long term <br />financing of local government in San Jose on December 9, 1983 and he was the <br />only representative present from San Mateo County. He said that he spoke in <br />opposition to the objections of counties to redevelopment, suggesting that it <br />is in the long range interest of cities and counties to cooperate where <br />redevelopment is indicated. <br />2. CONSENSUS: Vice Mayor Britschgi determined it to be the consensus of Council <br />to interview applicants for appointment to the Planning Commission vacancy at <br />7:00 p.m., Monday, January 9, 1983 in the Board of Supervisors Chambers. <br />ADJOURNMENT - In Memory of Budd 0. Stevenson <br />M /S: Biagi /Bury to cancel the City Council meeting regularly scheduled for <br />December 19, 1983 and to adjourn in memory of Budd 0. Stevenson until 7:00 p.m., <br />Monday, January 9, 1984 for the Group Interview Session in the Board of <br />Supervisors Chambers. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and Council adjourned at 11:17 p.m. <br />JACQUELINE C.
