<br />Î ~ <br /> <br />~ <br />rfJ <br /> <br />,I <br /> <br />GENERAL <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Councilman Bury called attention to the gift of $75.00 to the City <br />Library from Thomas Berglund, a Library patron, and to Mr. Berglund's <br />kind letter and suggested a letter of thanks be written to Mr. Berglund. <br />Mayor Biagi said he would write such a letter on behalf of Council. <br />(Memo 2/2/82) <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Stangel reported he and Councilman Chandler have had a very <br />satisfactory first meeting with the Port Commission representatives on <br />the Port Area Jurisdiction Committee. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Councilman Chandler commended the Library Board and the Archives <br />Committee for the annual Open House held on January 31, 1982 at the Main <br />Library presenting "How the Port Built Redwood City." <br />(Memo 2/2/82) <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Councilman Rhodes, representative on the South County Garbage and Refuse <br />Disposal District Board of Directors, reported the Board met today and <br />there is guarded optimism about the possibility of extending use of the <br />Menlo Park dump site beyond February 14. <br /> <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />M/S: Stangel/Bury to adjourn. <br />Carried unanimously and Council adjourned at <br />8: 16 p.m. <br /> <br />JACQUELINE C.
