CGM:mf 4/16/82 RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- NO. 9 092 MR 1:J :~92 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 13, 1982 WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, by Resolution No. 9070, duly passed and adopted on March 15, 1982, designated the precincts and polling places and appointed the members of the precinct boards for the general election to be held in said City of Redwood City on April 13, 1982, as required by law, for the objects and purposes of: (1) electing the following municipal officers of the City of Redwood City: Three (3) Councilmen for the full term of four (4) years each; and (2) submitting to the voters four (4) charter amendment proposals; and WHEREAS, said general municipal election was held on Tuesday, April 13, 1982, in accordance with law, and the votes thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, determined and declared in all respects as required by law; NOW, THEREFORE ; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, and is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of this Council as a statement of the result of said election. 2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at said general municipal election was 4854 votes. 3.
