MOTION: to approve conditions attached to <br />approval of a Use Permit and Architectural <br />Permit, ARCO mini-market, 1700 Middlefield <br />Road <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />1 <br />-I <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />~--.- <br /> <br />- .~--_.._" <br /> <br />ACTION TAKEN (continued) <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR (continued) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9103 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9104 <br /> <br />Approved <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Dale Greenfelder, 520 Compass Drive, Arco <br />Petroleum Products Company, referred to the <br />Report of the City Manager and the Planning <br />Director of April 2, 1982, stating that <br />Condition 9 is fully acceptable, but <br />requesting that Conditions 5 and 10 be <br />eliminated, stating ARCO will meet Code <br />requirements on 5. <br /> <br />Planning Director Schroeter stated that <br />Condition 5 is not necessary if ARCO meets <br />Code requirements regarding the driveway and <br />that Condition 10 is not unusual, but may be <br />eliminated if ARCO maintains its own <br />property. <br /> <br />MIS: Biagi/Britschgi to delete Conditions 5 <br />and 10 in the recommendation of the Planning <br />Director contained in his report of April 2, <br />1982 and to approve all other conditions. <br /> <br />(Conditions are as follows: <br /> <br />1. that the mansard roof surfaces shall be <br />treated with "new wood shakes" as shown <br />on applicant's drawings on file in the <br />Planning Department; <br /> <br />2. that the canopy supports and portions of <br />exterior walls shall be treated with <br />masonry or simulated masonry veneer as <br />shown on applicant's drawings on file in <br />the Planning Department; <br /> <br />3. that the rainbow fascia panel shall be <br />non-illuminated; <br /> <br />4. that the free-standing identification and <br />price signs shall be low-level, not <br />exceeding heights of four feet and five <br />feet, respectively, as shown on <br />applicantts drawings on file in the <br />Planning Department; <br /> <br />5. Deleted <br /> <br />6. that any other damaged and defective <br />curbs, gutters, and sidewalks shall be <br />repaired or rebuilt as required by the <br />Director of Public Works; <br /> <br />Reg.
